Portfolio of Work

A selection of academic and independent projects spanning OSINT research, data privacy compliance, security tooling analysis, and design thinking.

🔎 An Introduction to OSINT

Independent research into how Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) reshaped cybersecurity and national security during major global events, including the COVID-19 pandemic and the Russo-Ukrainian War. I looked at how governments use OSINT for surveillance and intelligence gathering, and why legal frameworks haven't kept pace with how the practice is actually used.

⚙️ Data Privacy Compliance

I wrote a full privacy policy from scratch, covering data protection risks, policy scope, and how data should be stored, used, and secured. Alongside it, I put together a consulting proposal for a large medical institution outlining concrete steps to comply with GDPR and CCPA while protecting personally identifiable information (PII).

🛡️ SIEM Tools Analysis

A side-by-side comparison of three major Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms: Splunk, IBM QRadar, and LogRhythm. I focused on how each one handles threat detection, incident response, and data analytics, since that's usually where the real differences show up in day-to-day use.

⚕️ Innovative Solutions

Working through the full design thinking process (empathize, define, ideate, prototype, test), I built a high-fidelity prototype aimed at making technology genuinely usable for elderly users, not just accessible on paper. The goal was something intuitive enough that comfort with tech wasn't a prerequisite.

📘 Digital Communication, Information & Media Coursework

A capstone-style bundle from my Digital Communication, Information & Media coursework: leadership competencies, a personal leadership development plan, an eBook project, and a course website. It's less a single project and more a snapshot of where my communication and media skills stood by the end of that program.
