IT Support, Systems Administration & Security
From fixing detection systems in the field to running accounts and endpoints on DoW networks, here's the path so far. The short version is below; the full details are in my résumé.
Work History
Help desk, systems administration, and hands-on hardware, across campus IT and the Army.
IT Support Analyst
I'm the person users call when something breaks on classified or unclassified networks. Day to day that means working tickets, managing Active Directory accounts, keeping endpoints compliant, and reimaging machines to DoW hardening standards.
Computer Detective Systems Repairer
Kept detection and communications gear working in the field: diagnosing hardware and software faults, building out network racks and cabling, and training teammates on the equipment.
OIT Lab Consultant
Front-line support for a 50,000+ user campus. I handled about 50 tickets a week, resolved 95%+ of them on first contact, and imaged and set up new equipment.
IT Intern
Two summer internships that got me started: moving a school's network to a new building, setting up VoIP and Wi-Fi, and getting Chromebooks and classroom tech ready.
